The Message You Were Born To Share
In a sentence or two, what is the message(s) you were born to share?
Within us all is the Source of all our energy and inner wisdom. All we have to do is learn to totally trust this Source and depend on it at all times. This Source guides us through our intuition and brings to us all that we need to receive to learn and grow in Love.
How did you recognise and acknowledge your impulse to be a messenger?
I found I had a passion for this type of work and it seemed natural to share with others the information and the tools that I was using. Also opportunities started to come my way very easily, especially when I stopped setting goals and outlining to the Universe how I wanted things to be.
How do you overcome your humanness? Your fear, your vulnerabilities and questions like “Who am I to?” and “What have I got to say that’s any different?
I have always noticed my humanness, my fears, vulnerabilities and stresses, which have sometimes spoken very loudly to me and really tried to take over. Yet, I have absolutely known that when it is time for me to act, or do something big, that a Higher level of thinking takes over that has enabled me to do whatever I have been “asked” to do with ease...and I have really enjoyed it.
What have been the most important practical steps did you’ve taken to get going and start sharing your messages and get seen and known? Eg Speaking, writing, building an audience and a platform
For many years now I have been sending out a “Focus For The Week” email every week which gives people a spiritual focus for the week and helps them see their lives differently. I know many people gain much value from this Focus and I use for regularly connecting with my group and reinforcing the message that I share with people.
I have also found that my public speaking and the writing of my book Spiritual Intelligence in Business have enabled me to share my message to a bigger audience.
What would you say has most caused your success?
Without doubt, my trust in my intuition to guide me in everything that I do. I totally trust the guidance I am given and willingly act upon it as I know that it will lead me precisely where I am meant to go...and to my success.
How much has it felt like your plan and how much like a divine plan?
I always feel that our Destiny is a combination of the Divine Plan for our lives and our willingness to act in alignment with it. So for me it was, and is, a natural unfolding of a Divine Plan which I just went along with.
If you were mentoring the “you” that was just starting out on this journey, what would you tell them?
I would tell her to not analyse things in great detail, but to consistently look at the bigger picture that you are instinctively moving towards. I think it is too easy to get caught up focusing on the apparent lack in the present moment and forget that this is just a very small part of the route that we are to take in God’s ultimate plan for our happiness and success.
What would be your 2 – 4 tips to others on this path?
- To follow only your own inner wisdom and guidance, and not the opinions of others or the dictates of your logical mind.
- To focus, not on your flaws and defects as your personality defines them, but on your brilliance, your gifts and the Source essence within you which is your perfection.
